Parent Partners' Sign Ups
Here in the children's ministry at BTCchurch, we are preparing for the new year with an ORANGE practice. (At BTCchurch our kids ministry is about faith-family-future and we like to say it is a picture of the color ORANGE. To make the color ORANGE, you have to mix together red and yellow. In our picture, red represents the heart, which is the home and yellow represents the Light, which is the church. Separately the colors are bright, but together they are BOLD. That's true of the parents and the church partnering together for stronger influence for our children.) So because we know that we want to partner more strongly with parents, we are implementing this newest ORANGE practice: Parent Partners.
what it is: Parent Partners are a parent, grandparent or other adult family member that attends/helps/participates with their child during their Sunday Morning Kids' Ministry
how often: twice a year, per child
why: because we want more for our kids, we want to develop stronger relationships with families, and we want parents to see, know, participate, and follow through on what happens on Sundays
how do I sign up:
sign up on line through the kids' web page (available on nursery, preschool and elementary pages)
ask for a hard copy sign up sheet at your child's kids' ministry room
use the kiosk at the Family Check-In station on Sundays
